Spartans Win the WNFC Western Conference Tournament in Convincing Fashion

The Texas Elite Spartans (48-0) remained undefeated through the playoffs as they return home to Texas with a 34-6 Western Conference Finals win against the San Deigo Rebellion.

The Spartans won 2 games over the three-day WNFC Conference Championship Tournament.

The defending champs were dominant from start to finish. Winning in convincing fashion against a scrappy Denver bandits squad on Thursday, June 8 (34-7).

On Saturday night (June 10) the Spartans faced a very good San Diego Rebellion squad who had just upset the #1 seed Utah Falconz a few days before.

The Spartans quickly dominated the Rebellion in all three faces. Ultimately winning the contest 34-6.

Throughout the 3 day tournament, the Spartans put on a show in all three faces, averaging a WNFC postseason high 34 points per game, and holding opponents to a league postseason low of 6 points.

The attacking defense of the Spartans was too much for both the Bandit and Rebellion squads, leaving both teams completely scoreless through the first half of each game.

The offense poured down points in every way, in mutiple different formations and designs.

With the win, the Spartans return home (DFW) to play in the 2023 WNFC IX Cup Championship Game.

A Spartans win would solidify an already historic run for the team, leaving them as the only team in pro sports to ever reach 49 straight wins, zero losses, and a 4PEAT. Achieving this historic feat will not be easy as the Spartans are set to take on the #1 Seed in the Eastern Conference Finals (Mississippi Panthers) led by Former TES Superstar Rasan Gore. The game is being touted as the most competitive match-up in the history of the Women's National Football Conference.
