The Spartans will play the Utah Falconz for a chance to win a 4th straight national title, and 3rd straight WNFC IX Cup.
The undefeated Texas Elite Spartans defeated the 7-0 Atlanta Phoenix in dominating fashion (30-10) to win their 3rd straight WNFC, Atlantic Conference Championship.
The Powerhouse Atlanta Phoenix came into the game boasting the top defense in the country, only allowing 7 points on the season.
The Spartan offense scored 30 points on the #1 rated defense in the WNFC, led by a dominating performance by the offensive line. The line kept All-Pro QB Brittany Bushman safe in the pocket for most of the night. While superstar receivers, Maria Jackson, Liz Landry, and Brittany Satterwhite put on a show. The Spartans running game was on full display with magnificent performances from Kez Wesley, Rasan Gore, and Tiffany Hill.
The Spartan defense was in playoff form, keeping the Atlanta Phoneix defense out of the endzone for most of the night. The "terror squad" defensive line wreaked havoc on the Atlanta Phoenix offense. The effort was led by an ELITE duo of linebackers, Deana Guidry, and Amber Kimbrough.
With the win, the Spartans have stamped a 3rd straight ticket to the WNFC IX Cup Championship. They will face the Utah Falconz for the second time in a WNFC championship game. The last meeting between the Spartans and Falconz (2019) ended in a 19-14 championship victory by the Spartans.
This year's event will be held at The Star in Frisco. The game will be streamed live on Vyre Network. For tickets and more information on championship weekend events, visit www.wnfcfootball.com.
